Who we are

DiveHub is a social app for divers to log dives, discover spots and dive schools, and find buddies. This privacy statement describes what data we process and why.

What data we collect

• Account data: email address, display name, possibly your certification and home location.
• Profile photo (avatar) and photos with your dives.
• Dives entered by you: spot, date, depth, duration, temperature, visibility, notes and any dive school.
• Social interactions: likes, comments, buddy requests and bookings.
• Technical data necessary for the operation of the app (session, logs).

What we use this data for

• Offering the app and your personal dive logbook.
• Showing your dives to other users (public profile).
• Notifications about likes, comments, buddy requests and bookings.
• Security and abuse prevention.

Who we share data with

We do not share your data with third parties for marketing purposes. For hosting and authentication we use Lovable Cloud. Dive school bookings are visible to the owner of the respective dive school.

Your rights

You can edit your profile via the app, delete your dives, and have your entire account deleted by contacting us. In addition, you have the right to inspection, correction and objection in accordance with the GDPR.
